How it all Started

A couple of Christmases ago I found myself bored with the same old cards and the crazy high prices for anything that looked remotely unique.

I decided to section out a couple of pages in my watercolor notebook and paint some small scenes. I trimmed them out and pasted them onto the front of blank cards. I scripted a nice note inside and Presto! I did it for fun, but I was surprised at the response from every single person that received one! They were delighted and went on and on about how much they loved these little mini pieces of art!It is now my habit to send these to my friends and family and it is so much fun that I thought I would show others how to do it as well, not only for Christmas cards but for every season and reason!

MEET YOUR MENTOR

Tennessee Artist Carol Robin King

Carol is known for her watercolor paintings and has won many awards. She trained professionally at art School in Buenos Aires, Argentina and has continued her training in the US with many workshops.

Carol has taught art classes professionally to both children and adults. Her students always love the classes and always ask for more!

She is a board Member of the Tennessee Artist Association and a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society and participates in multiple art shows every year.

HOW IT WORKS

After you sign up, you will receive an email with a list of supplies. You can use supplies you have at home or purchase the ones I recommend. You can shop on your own or use links to carts I set up from Amazon and Jerry’s that have the basics you need already in them. If you need them all, its around $30 and they will last you for loads of painting after class is over.

Some supplies are optional if you want to do extra practice.

Classes will be within a Facebook group everyday for around 1 to 1.5 hours and VIP bonus sessions will be on Zoom. If you can’t make a class, it will be recorded and uploaded to the page for you to watch anytime within the week of the challenge.
